Day 16 13 miles Padron Hotel Chef Rivera plus 2 for walking the city

I am sitting here having a glass of white wine with a gratis (tapas) little bowl of lentil soup while our laundry goes round and round on its own across the street!  It’s a wonderful thing to have clean clothes coming our way.  Really clean and dry- not washed in the shower by hand and hung to dry in our room!

Today was one of the most beautiful (but hot) walls we have had and Craig took fantastic pictures.  I will show some here.

We re-connected with the three sisters and will meet them later for dinner.  Tomorrow we walk into Santiago.  We decided to stay two nights there before we move onto the next dimension.  We are ready for another rest day. Why not Santiago? Wonder who we will meet up with while there?

And Craig right now is in his very own heaven in our hotel room watching Venus Williams play tennis in Italy I think!  What a surprise!!

Sign in the lavanderia.

Familiar?

We across and through two countries.  Not every sight can be pristinely beautiful.

Are we in the PNW?  Could be.

Lots of cairns mark the way along with the shallow and yellow arrows.  All is way marked.

Many bicyclists.  Mostly Italian and Spanish.  Crazy difficult and extreme!

And now the clothes are done and it is time to have a siesta!

Dinner tonight was a salad with warm melted Galician cheese and roasted peppers.  We are with the three sisters.

It was quite a hot day

An oasis!  One of many that we stop during the at for fresh orange juice, cafe con leche, and various salads and bocadillos.

An horeo - grain storage. Symbol of Galicia
